Walk and Talk Therapy Expectations

“Nature has the power to heal because it is where we are from, it is where we belong and it belongs to us as an essential part of our health and our survival.”

Creative Counsellors

What are the benefits of having walk and talk therapy?

  • Being in nature

  • A break away from the screen or sitting in a closed therapy room

  • Sometimes, it can help lessen anxiety when your moving. Being face-to-face in a space can be challenging for some, so having the sessions side-by-side while walking can help ease some challenges and anxieties.

  • It is more grounding and stabilising and can help process more painful emotions

  • Being able to breath clearer

  • Exercise and movement helps to boost endorphones and those feel good chemicals in the brain and the body

  • Nature helps with offering grounding experiences

Sessions are being offered in the East Renfrewshire area; (Clarkston, Whitecraigs, Netherlee)

Walk and Talk sessions will only be offered to those aged 18 + and will cost £40 a session.
